The Louisiana Alliance of Retail Pharmacies (LARP) was established in 2020 as a division of the Louisiana Retailers Association. LARP members operate over 200 pharmacies in Louisiana.
“Over the years, retail pharmacies have worked together providing the citizens of Louisiana exceptional care throughout the state. As healthcare evolves and with the current COVID pandemic, I, along with the other member companies believe the formalization of this group will allow us to more effectively provide accessible healthcare and ensure we meet Louisiana’s healthcare needs.”
Pharmacies play an important role as one of the most accessible community health and wellness destinations. Louisiana Alliance of Retail Pharmacies’ mission is for members to work collectively to provide the highest standards of pharmaceutical care for the citizens of Louisiana by increasing access to both prescriptions and clinical and cognitive services while working collaboratively with the Pharmacy Board, other pharmacy organizations, educational institutions and the local and state health departments.
